About Fate/kaleid liner Prisma☆Illya 3rei!!

Fate/kaleid liner Prisma☆Illya 3rei!! (Fate/kaleid liner プリズマ☆イリヤ ドライ!!) blends action, comedy and ecchi by SILVER LINK. (2016). Below is a fresh retelling of what the story is about. In short: Illya and the gang have finished their clash against the heroic spirit residing in the eighth class card. They're back in vacation mode again, looking to make the most of what they have left of summer break.

Soon after, their hopes get crushed in the blink of an eye. An all-too-unrealistic silhouette appears before them when they go to investigate the odd event at Mount Enzō. After a short skirmish, the entire space ends up being warped.

In an action series like this, fight choreography, pacing and sound design carry much of the weight. Shirou Emiya (Noriaki Sugiyama) and Rin Toosaka (Kana Ueda) are two of the characters you will meet early. This one is best suited to viewers who like fast, high-impact fights. The run is 12 episodes in total, so you know what you are signing up for.

Production & Appeal

Production sits with SILVER LINK., which means the visual identity of Fate/kaleid liner Prisma☆Illya 3rei!! follows that studio's craft. The action focus matters here: fight choreography, pacing and sound design carry much of the weight. A 7.3/10 score points to a dependable, well-liked series. Voice casting, including Noriaki Sugiyama as Shirou Emiya, adds to the appeal for fans who follow seiyuu. Released in 2016, it competed with that season's other new series for attention.
