HaNaYaMaTa

About HaNaYaMaTa

HaNaYaMaTa (ハナヤマタ) blends comedy and slice of life by MADHOUSE (2014). Below is a fresh retelling of what the story is about. At its core: Normal appearance, normal intelligence, normal in arts and sports... just normal. This is the entirely normal 14-year-old, Naru Sekiya.

Soon after, while she admires "Heroines" she continues to live a normal life until one moonlit night she runs into a fairy. This foreign girl then guides her into the extraordinary world of the yosakoi dance.

In a comedy series like this, timing, character chemistry and running gags decide whether it lands. Hana Fountainstand (Minami Tanaka) and Tami Nishimikado (Yuka Ootsubo) are two of the characters you will meet early. This one is best suited to viewers who want something light between heavier series. With 12 episodes in total, there is enough room for the story to develop.
