Casshern Sins

About Casshern Sins

Here is what Casshern Sins (キャシャーンSins) is about, retold in plain terms: an action, adventure and drama anime by MADHOUSE and Tatsunoko Production (2008). At its core: In the distant future, where cyborgs and humans struggle to survive after the war which destroyed the world, a being in white suit awakens. His name is Casshern and he remembers nothing of his own past.

As things develop, in barren and dark dystopian realm, where every being alive seems to hate his existence and the evil from his past longs him dead, Casshern. He does not know that he might not like the horrible truth of the past, hidden deep inside his mind... Created as an intended reboot of Casshern franchise.

In an action series like this, fight choreography, pacing and sound design carry much of the weight. Casshern (Tooru Furuya) and Luna Kozuki (Akiko Yajima) are two of the characters you will meet early. It will appeal most to viewers who like fast, high-impact fights. With 24 episodes in total, there is enough room for the story to develop.
