Esper Mami

About Esper Mami

Esper Mami (エスパー魔美) blends comedy, ecchi and supernatural by Shin-Ei Animation (1987). Below is a fresh retelling of what the story is about. At its core: Sakura Mami had been a normal junior high school student, but she happened to acquire supernatural power. With her power and the help of Mr.

Beyond that: Takahata who was the best friend of her, she would solve enigmatic incidents. When she felt someone wanted help, she used the "Teleportation Gun" to teleport to the place. Then she would save the people in trouble using her supernatural powers, such as telekinesis and telepathy.

In a comedy series like this, timing, character chemistry and running gags decide whether it lands. Voice work is led by Keiko Yokozawa as Mami Sakura and Nozomu Sasaki as Satoru Takenaga. Think of it as a pick for viewers who want something light between heavier series. With 119 episodes in total, there is enough room for the story to develop.
