Inferno Cop English Sub & Dub

About Inferno Cop

Meet Inferno Cop (インフェルノコップ), an action and comedy anime by CoMix Wave and TRIGGER (2012). Here is the premise in a nutshell. At its core: The story deals with those in this world who dwell in the dark, invisible to the naked eye. From time to time, these figures bare their fangs and attack people.

Another thread: Inferno Cop is a messenger of justice who came from the depths of hell to protect people from them.

As an action title, fight choreography, pacing and sound design carry much of the weight. Voice work is led by Kaname Shimorenjaku as Narrator and Junichi Gotou as Inferno Cop. It will appeal most to viewers who like fast, high-impact fights. The run is 13 episodes in total, so you know what you are signing up for.

Production & Appeal

Animation is handled by CoMix Wave and TRIGGER, so the studio's house style defines how Inferno Cop looks and moves on screen. The action focus matters here: fight choreography, pacing and sound design carry much of the weight. Its 6.9/10 score suggests opinions are split, so it suits viewers who already like the genre. Voice casting, including Kaname Shimorenjaku as Narrator, adds to the appeal for fans who follow seiyuu. Released in 2012, it competed with that season's other new series for attention.
