Inferno Cop English Sub & Dub

About Inferno Cop

Inferno Cop (インフェルノコップ) arrives as an action anime by CoMix Wave and TRIGGER (2012), and the premise is easy to summarize. In short: The story deals with those in this realm who dwell in the dark, invisible to the naked eye. From time to time, these figures bare their fangs and attack people.

Also worth knowing: Inferno Cop is a messenger of justice who came from the depths of hell to protect people from them.

As an action title, fight choreography, pacing and sound design carry much of the weight. Voice work is led by Kaname Shimorenjaku as Narrator and Junichi Gotou as Inferno Cop. This one is best suited to viewers who like fast, high-impact fights. The run is 13 episodes in total, so you know what you are signing up for.

Production & Appeal

CoMix Wave and TRIGGER is the studio behind Inferno Cop, and its direction shapes everything from character design to motion. Because it leans on action, fight choreography, pacing and sound design carry much of the weight. Its 6.9/10 score suggests opinions are split, so it suits viewers who already like the genre. On the casting side, Kaname Shimorenjaku voicing Narrator gives the lead role a recognizable voice. Released in 2012, it competed with that season's other new series for attention.
