Neo Angelique Abyss English Sub & Dub

About Neo Angelique Abyss

Here is what Neo Angelique Abyss (ネオアンジェリーク Abyss) is about, retold in plain terms: a comedy, fantasy and romance anime by Yumeta Company and Koei (2008). At its core: While the young Angelique lives out her days peacefully in her school, attacks from the monstrous Thanatos has been increasing everywhere else. Two Purifiers show up one day, men with the ability to exterminate the Thanatos.

As things develop, one of them, Nyx, sets out to convince Angelique to join them in their work, as she has the ability to be the only female Purifier. As Angelique hesitates, a Thanatos shows up in their school. Nyx and the other Purifier, Rayne, fight a losing battle.

In a comedy series like this, timing, character chemistry and running gags decide whether it lands. Rayne (Hiroki Takahashi) and Angelique (Aya Endou) are two of the characters you will meet early. This one is best suited to viewers who want something light between heavier series. With 13 episodes in total, there is enough room for the story to develop.

Production & Appeal

Yumeta Company and Koei is the studio behind Neo Angelique Abyss, and its direction shapes everything from character design to motion.
