About Glitter Force Doki Doki

Here is what Glitter Force Doki Doki (ドキドキ! プリキュア) is about, retold in plain terms: a fantasy and mahou shoujo anime by Toei Animation (2013). What the story covers: Aida Mana is a girl who is always eager to do things for the sake of others. One day, when she was visiting the Clover Tower during her school's orientation program, an enemy who called themselves "Selfish" appeared without warning, and tried to manipulate her inner heart!

Further in, to confront this foe, she borrowed power from a magical fairy Sharuru to transform into Pretty Cure! To protect the peace of the world, other legendary Pretty Cure soon joined her in battle! A mysterious baby also appears, making each day a "Heartthrob" experience!

In a fantasy series like this, world-building, magic systems and creature design set the tone. Voice work is led by Hitomi Nabatame as Mana Aida and Mai Fuchigami as Alice Yotsuba. It will appeal most to fans of magic, kingdoms and invented worlds. The run is 49 episodes in total, so you know what you are signing up for.
