Seven Senses of the Re'Union

About Seven Senses of the Re'Union

Seven Senses of the Re'Union (七星のスバル) blends action, drama and fantasy by Lerche (2018). Below is a fresh retelling of what the story is about. At its core: In the popular MMORPG realm 'Union' there existed a legendary party. Its name was Subaru.

Along the way, this party, made up of a group of childhood allies and elementary schoolers, exceeded the limits of the game with their various senses. However, due to an incident which resulted in a death, 'Union' ended its service and the group of childhood allies went separate ways... 6 years later, high schooler Haruto logged into the new 'Reunion' and reunited with a single girl.

In an action series like this, fight choreography, pacing and sound design carry much of the weight. Voice work is led by Chika Anzai as Elicia and Takuma Terashima as Vivali Clive. Think of it as a pick for viewers who like fast, high-impact fights. At 12 episodes in total, it is easy to plan a viewing schedule.

Production & Appeal

Animation is handled by Lerche, so the studio's house style defines how Seven Senses of the Re'Union looks and moves on screen. Because it leans on action, fight choreography, pacing and sound design carry much of the weight. With a 5.7/10 score, it is more of a niche pick than a universal crowd-pleaser. Voice casting, including Chika Anzai as Elicia, adds to the appeal for fans who follow seiyuu. Released in 2018, it competed with that season's other new series for attention.
