As an action title, fight choreography, pacing and sound design carry much of the weight. Ageha Yoshina (Rikuya Yasuda) and Sakurako Amamiya (Mayuko Kazama) are two of the characters you will meet early. If you count yourself among viewers who like fast, high-impact fights, put it on your list. With 4 episodes so far, there is enough room for the story to develop.
Production & Appeal
Production sits with Satelight and Studio Pierrot, which means the visual identity of PSYREN follows that studio's craft. Because it leans on action, fight choreography, pacing and sound design carry much of the weight. At 7.0/10 it earns a solid reception, a safe pick for fans of the genre. On the casting side, Rikuya Yasuda voicing Ageha Yoshina gives the lead role a recognizable voice. Released in 2026, it competed with that season's other new series for attention.
