About Norn9

Meet Norn9 (NORN9 ノルン+ノネット), a drama, romance and sci-fi anime by Kinema Citrus and Orange (2016). Here is the premise in a nutshell. In short: The story takes place a little in the future. Guided by one particular song, young elementary school pupil Suzuhara Sorata, from the Heisei Era, is warped through a time skip to an unfamiliar place that looks much like the towns from the Meiji or Taishou period from his.

Along the way, in this world, he crosses paths with three young ladies and nine young men and joins them on a journey aboard the enigmatic Norn ship, a giant globe that floats in midair. Otomate made the announcement at the "Norn9 with Ark & for Spica" event at Tokyo's Nakano Sun Plaza on 2nd March 2014.

As a drama title, character writing and emotional payoff matter more than spectacle. Natsuhiko Azuma (Daisuke Ono) and Senri Ichinose (Hiro Shimono) are two of the characters you will meet early. This one is best suited to viewers who prefer story and feelings over flashy action. With 12 episodes in total, there is enough room for the story to develop.
