Dragon Crisis! English Sub & Dub

About Dragon Crisis!

Here is what Dragon Crisis! is about, retold in plain terms: an action, supernatural and school anime by Studio Deen (2011). In short: A normal high school boy Kisaragi Ryuji's peaceful life is turned into an adventure by the return of his second cousin Eriko. Ryuji and Eriko seize a relic box from a black broker.

From there, in the box, they find a red dragon girl Rose. In order to protect Rose from the black organization, Ryuji decides to fight using his strength as a relic handler.

In an action series like this, fight choreography, pacing and sound design carry much of the weight. It will appeal most to viewers who like fast, high-impact fights.

Production & Appeal

Animation is handled by Studio Deen, so the studio's house style defines how Dragon Crisis! looks and moves on screen. Within the action category, fight choreography, pacing and sound design carry much of the weight. Its 6.7/10 score suggests opinions are split, so it suits viewers who already like the genre. Released in 2011, it competed with that season's other new series for attention.
