Kiitarou Shounen no Youkai Enikki: Jonan no Saijitsu

About Kiitarou Shounen no Youkai Enikki: Jonan no Saijitsu

Kiitarou Shounen no Youkai Enikki: Jonan no Saijitsu (奇異太郎少年の妖怪絵日記 女難の祭日) blends comedy, ecchi and fantasy by Creators in Pack (2017). Below is a fresh retelling of what the story is about. At its core: An unaired episode 13 of Kiitarou Shounen no Youkai Enikki included on the DVD/BD release. Kiitarou runs into typical ecchi manga tropes due to Lucky Eros albeit he doesn't feel "lucky" and tries to avoid everything happening between him and the female youkai.

In a comedy series like this, timing, character chemistry and running gags decide whether it lands. Voice work is led by Arisa Nakada as Suzu and Hiromi Igarashi as Kiitarou.

If you count yourself among viewers who want something light between heavier series, put it on your list. The run is 1 episodes in total, so you know what you are signing up for.

Production & Appeal

Production sits with Creators in Pack, which means the visual identity of Kiitarou Shounen no Youkai Enikki: Jonan no Saijitsu follows that studio's craft. The comedy focus matters here: timing, character chemistry and running gags decide whether it lands. With a 5.7/10 score, it is more of a niche pick than a universal crowd-pleaser. On the casting side, Arisa Nakada voicing Suzu gives the lead role a recognizable voice. Released in 2017, it competed with that season's other new series for attention.
