Blood-C: None-None Gekijou

About Blood-C: None-None Gekijou

Blood-C: None-None Gekijou (のねのね劇場) blends comedy by Production I.G and Studio PuYUKAI (2012). Below is a fresh retelling of what the story is about. The setup: A series of short specials aired on the official website prior to the movie release. It consists of an explanation about the anime from the perspective of the twin characters, Motoe Nono and Motoe Nene.

As things develop, an additional episode was aired at the Clamp Festival 2012. It was later included in Blood-C: The Last Dark Limited Edition BD and DVD.

As a comedy title, timing, character chemistry and running gags decide whether it lands. Nene Motoe (Misato Fukuen) and Nono Motoe (Misato Fukuen) are two of the characters you will meet early. It will appeal most to viewers who want something light between heavier series. At 7 episodes in total, it is easy to plan a viewing schedule.

Production & Appeal

Production sits with Production I.G and Studio PuYUKAI, which means the visual identity of Blood-C: None-None Gekijou follows that studio's craft. The comedy focus matters here: timing, character chemistry and running gags decide whether it lands. With a 5.3/10 score, it is more of a niche pick than a universal crowd-pleaser. On the casting side, Misato Fukuen voicing Nene Motoe gives the lead role a recognizable voice. Released in 2012, it competed with that season's other new series for attention.
