Go! Go! 575

About Go! Go! 575

Go! Go! 575 (ゴ～！ゴ～！ご～しちご～) blends music and slice of life by Lay-duce and C2C (2014). Below is a fresh retelling of what the story is about. The setup: 575 adapts the Project 575 games for PlayStation Vita and iOS, which allow anyone to create songs using the traditional Japanese 5-7-5-syllable meter found in haiku and tanka poems.

With music at the core, performance scenes and soundtrack choices are central. Maccha Kobayashi (Ayaka Oohashi) and Azuki Masaoka (Yuka Ootsubo) are two of the characters you will meet early.

If you count yourself among viewers who care about music and live performance, put it on your list. With 4 episodes in total, there is enough room for the story to develop.

Production & Appeal

Production sits with Lay-duce and C2C, which means the visual identity of Go! Go! 575 follows that studio's craft. The music focus matters here: performance scenes and soundtrack choices are central. With a 5.4/10 score, it is more of a niche pick than a universal crowd-pleaser. On the casting side, Ayaka Oohashi voicing Maccha Kobayashi gives the lead role a recognizable voice. Released in 2014, it competed with that season's other new series for attention.
