Kigurumikku

About Kigurumikku

Kigurumikku (きグルみっく☆V3) blends action, comedy and ecchi by AIC and AIC A.S.T.A. (2009). Below is a fresh retelling of what the story is about. The premise: The high spirited girls Azuki Edomae, Mutsumi Mutsuki and Serika Shihodo, put on their "KIGURUMI"costumes instantly transforming them into the super heros Kigurumikku-Swan, Kigurumikku-Falcon and Kigurumikku-Swallow. Follow these super-girls as they defend Minamachi Metropolis and bring peace to the town.

As an action title, fight choreography, pacing and sound design carry much of the weight. Azuki Edomae (Haruka Tomatsu) and Mutsumi Shingetsu (Yuka Iguchi) are two of the characters you will meet early.

If you count yourself among viewers who like fast, high-impact fights, put it on your list. With 3 episodes in total, there is enough room for the story to develop.

Production & Appeal

Animation is handled by AIC and AIC A.S.T.A., so the studio's house style defines how Kigurumikku looks and moves on screen. Because it leans on action, fight choreography, pacing and sound design carry much of the weight. Its 4.4/10 score suggests opinions are split, so it suits viewers who already like the genre. On the casting side, Haruka Tomatsu voicing Azuki Edomae gives the lead role a recognizable voice. Released in 2009, it competed with that season's other new series for attention.
