Guin Saga English Sub & Dub

About Guin Saga

If you are hunting for a new action series, Guin Saga (グイン・サーガ) deserves a look (2009). The setup goes like this. In short: The long-lost domain of Parros has been invaded by the armies of Mongaul, and its king and queen have been slain. But the "twin pearls of Parros," the princess Rinda and the prince Remus, escape using a strange device hidden in the palace.

Next up: Lost in Roodwood, they are rescued from Mongaul soldiers by a strange leopard-headed man, who has no memories except for the words "Aurra" and "Guin," which he believes to be his name.

With action at the core, fight choreography, pacing and sound design carry much of the weight. Voice work is led by Kenyuu Horiuchi as Guin and Mai Nakahara as Rinda. It will appeal most to viewers who like fast, high-impact fights. At 26 episodes in total, it is easy to plan a viewing schedule.

Production & Appeal

Satelight is the studio behind Guin Saga, and its direction shapes everything from character design to motion. The action focus matters here: fight choreography, pacing and sound design carry much of the weight. Its 6.8/10 score suggests opinions are split, so it suits viewers who already like the genre. Voice casting, including Kenyuu Horiuchi as Guin, adds to the appeal for fans who follow seiyuu. Released in 2009, it competed with that season's other new series for attention.
