365 Days to the Wedding

About 365 Days to the Wedding

365 Days to the Wedding (結婚するって、本当ですか) blends romance and slice of life by Ashi Productions (2024). Below is a fresh retelling of what the story is about. What the story covers: Takuya and Rika work at the same travel agency in Tokyo and are both happily introverted and single. But their company is opening a new branch in Alaska next year, and employees without a spouse will be recruited to work there.

Beyond that: Desperate to avoid the move, and though they’ve hardly spoken before, they decide to fake an engagement. Can these quiet coworkers become a convincing couple?

In a romance series like this, slow-burn chemistry and believable dialogue are what keep it engaging. Voice work is led by Kentarou Kumagai as Takuya Oohara and Saori Hayami as Rika Honjouji. Think of it as a pick for viewers who enjoy relationship-driven stories. At 12 episodes in total, it is easy to plan a viewing schedule.
