Shakugan no Shana: Season II

About Shakugan no Shana: Season II

Here is what Shakugan no Shana: Season II (灼眼のシャナⅡ(Second)) is about, retold in plain terms: an action, comedy and drama anime by J.C.STAFF (2007). In short: The heated bond between Shana and Yuji is tested as their paranormal adventures continues. The Flame Haze fends off supernatural foes by night.

Beyond that: By day, she contends with a classmate who's also after Yuji's heart. Emotions flare as a suspicious transfer student who resembles a recently defeated Denizen clings to Yuji. His training rises in intensity when they catch wind of a revered warrior in search of her lost lover—who will stop at nothing to extract the power keeping Yuji alive!

In an action series like this, fight choreography, pacing and sound design carry much of the weight. Shana (Rie Kugimiya) and Alastor (Masashi Ebara) are two of the characters you will meet early. It will appeal most to viewers who like fast, high-impact fights. With 24 episodes in total, there is enough room for the story to develop.

Production & Appeal
