Kemeko DX

About Kemeko DX

Kemeko DX (ケメコデラックス！) arrives as a comedy anime by Hal Film Maker (2008), and the premise is easy to summarize. In short: The story centers on a typical high school boy and a super-deformed, doll-like robot that all at once appears in his bedroom. The robot declares itself to be the boy's wife, and only then does a beautiful girl emerge out of the robot's mouth.

From there, the girl turns out to be someone who was promised the boy's hand in marriage ten years earlier.

With comedy at the core, timing, character chemistry and running gags decide whether it lands. Voice work is led by Eri Kitamura as Sanpeita Kobayashi and Chiwa Saitou as Kemeko. It will appeal most to viewers who want something light between heavier series. The run is 12 episodes in total, so you know what you are signing up for.
