About Yu-Gi-Oh! CARD GAME: THE CHRONICLES

Yu-Gi-Oh! CARD GAME: THE CHRONICLES blends action and fantasy by KONAMI animation (2025). Below is a fresh retelling of what the story is about. At its core: CARD GAME THE CHRONICLES is a monthly short-anime series showcasing Official Card Game-original card themes. It is an expansion of the demo reel of the same name released the previous year.

Also worth knowing: Episodes and Themes 01-02: Sky Striker Ace 03-08: The Fallen & The Virtuous 09-12: Spirit Charmers 13-16: Magistus 17-21: Seeker of the Sinful Spoils.

In an action series like this, fight choreography, pacing and sound design carry much of the weight. Raye (Anna Nagase) and Roze (Nene Hieda) are two of the characters you will meet early. It will appeal most to viewers who like fast, high-impact fights. Follow the episode list on this page to keep up with the latest release.

Production & Appeal

Animation is handled by KONAMI animation, so the studio's house style defines how Yu-Gi-Oh! CARD GAME: THE CHRONICLES looks and moves on screen. The action focus matters here: fight choreography, pacing and sound design carry much of the weight. With a 6.0/10 score, it is more of a niche pick than a universal crowd-pleaser. On the casting side, Anna Nagase voicing Raye gives the lead role a recognizable voice. Released in 2025, it competed with that season's other new series for attention.
