New Saga English Sub & Dub

About New Saga

New Saga (Tsuyokute New Saga) blends adventure and fantasy by Sotsu, Studio Clutch (2025). Below is a fresh retelling of what the story is about. At its core: Humanity and demonkind have been on bad terms for millennia, resulting in the continent of Leunders being split in two. Although the situation has stabilized between the races, the fragile peace breaks when the new demon king launches a fierce all-out attack.

From there, with all of the non-demon nations falling to the violence in under a year, humanity's hope rests in a special squad, led by swordsman Kyle Leonard, that has to assassinate the demon king in order to bring an end to the war. During the risky mission, Kyle ends up in a clash with the demon king that brings him to the brink of death. As Kyle realizes he has lost everything he wanted to protect, an enigmatic gem transports him back in time before the conflict even started!

As an adventure title, exploration, new locations and a steady sense of momentum drive the story. This one is best suited to anyone who enjoys travel-the-world storytelling.

Production & Appeal

Animation is handled by Sotsu, Studio Clutch, so the studio's house style defines how New Saga looks and moves on screen. The adventure focus matters here: exploration, new locations and a steady sense of momentum drive the story. With a 6.6/10 score, it is more of a niche pick than a universal crowd-pleaser. Released in 2025, it competed with that season's other new series for attention.
