Bye Bye, Earth

About Bye Bye, Earth

Meet Bye Bye, Earth (ばいばい、アース), an action, adventure and fantasy anime by LIDENFILMS (2024). Here is the premise in a nutshell. At its core: Belle Lablac doesn’t really fit in as the only human being in a world full of anthropomorphic animals. No fangs, no fur, no scales, no claws.

More of the story: Lonely and eager to discover where she comes from, Belle journeys to find answers to the questions of her heart. Carrying nothing but her giant sword, the Runding, she faces a world of possibilities and pitfalls in hopes of discovering the truth.

In an action series like this, fight choreography, pacing and sound design carry much of the weight. Voice work is led by Fairouz Ai as Belle Lablac and Kouki Uchiyama as Adonis Kuestion. This one is best suited to viewers who like fast, high-impact fights. The run is 10 episodes in total, so you know what you are signing up for.

Production & Appeal

Animation is handled by LIDENFILMS, so the studio's house style defines how Bye Bye, Earth looks and moves on screen. The action focus matters here: fight choreography, pacing and sound design carry much of the weight. Its 5.9/10 score suggests opinions are split, so it suits viewers who already like the genre. On the casting side, Fairouz Ai voicing Belle Lablac gives the lead role a recognizable voice. It aired in 2024, which makes it easy to place in the wider anime calendar.
