Chio's School Road

About Chio's School Road

Meet Chio's School Road (ちおちゃんの通学路), a comedy and slice of life anime by diomedéa (2018). Here is the premise in a nutshell. In short: Miyamo Chio, a first-year at the completely ordinary high school Samejima Academy. Chio just wants to get through her school life without standing out too much, but for some reason, all kinds of obstacles await her along the path she takes to school.

From there, her long-time ally Nonomura Manana, who's trying to quit being an otaku; the flawless Hosokawa Yuki, who occupies the top caste in the school.

With comedy at the core, timing, character chemistry and running gags decide whether it lands. Chio Miyamo (Naomi Oozora) and Manana Nonomura (Chiaki Omigawa) are two of the characters you will meet early. This one is best suited to viewers who want something light between heavier series. At 12 episodes in total, it is easy to plan a viewing schedule.
