About Shin chan Spin-off: Aliens vs. Shinnosuke

Shin chan Spin-off: Aliens vs. Shinnosuke (クレヨンしんちゃん外伝 エイリアン vs. しんのすけ) blends comedy, ecchi and sci-fi by Shin-Ei Animation (2016). Below is a fresh retelling of what the story is about. In short: Unlike the main television anime series which is mostly set in modern-day Japan, the new series will be a "sealed room" suspense comedy set 100 years in the future. The story starts when Shinnosuke and the entire Nohara family wake up from cold sleep to find themselves aboard a space ship drifting in space.

Further in, the anime will depict the various events that take place inside the ship.

With comedy at the core, timing, character chemistry and running gags decide whether it lands. If you count yourself among viewers who want something light between heavier series, put it on your list. The run is 13 episodes in total, so you know what you are signing up for.
