Combatants Will Be Dispatched!

About Combatants Will Be Dispatched!

If you are hunting for a new action series, Combatants Will Be Dispatched! (戦闘員、派遣します！) deserves a look (2021). The setup goes like this. What the story covers: Turns out, evil takes initiative! With world domination close at hand, the Kisaragi Corporation turns its sights on interstellar conquest, and who better to take over a magical realm than two randomly assigned minions—Combatant Agent Six and his android partner.

Another thread: Six’s path up the evil corporate ladder won’t be easy—a Demon Lord’s army is hatching its own nefarious plan!

As an action title, fight choreography, pacing and sound design carry much of the weight. Alice Kisaragi (Miyu Tomita) and Snow (Sayaka Kikuchi) are two of the characters you will meet early. If you count yourself among viewers who like fast, high-impact fights, put it on your list. With 12 episodes in total, there is enough room for the story to develop.

Production & Appeal

Production sits with J.C.STAFF, which means the visual identity of Combatants Will Be Dispatched! follows that studio's craft. Within the action category, fight choreography, pacing and sound design carry much of the weight. Its 6.8/10 score suggests opinions are split, so it suits viewers who already like the genre. Voice casting, including Miyu Tomita as Alice Kisaragi, adds to the appeal for fans who follow seiyuu. It aired in 2021, which makes it easy to place in the wider anime calendar.
