Ladies Versus Butlers

About Ladies Versus Butlers

Ladies Versus Butlers (れでぃ×ばと!) blends comedy, ecchi and romance by Xebec (2010). Below is a fresh retelling of what the story is about. In short: Hino Akiharu lost his parents when he was small and was adopted into his uncle's family. He didn't want to be a burden on his uncle's family and chooses to enter a free boarding school as a butler, Hakureiryou high school.

Another thread: However, his delinquent boy-like appearance frightens the girls, who make up the majority of the pupils. Unable to get along with the classmates, Akiharu runs into his childhood crush Saikyou Tomomi.

As a comedy title, timing, character chemistry and running gags decide whether it lands. Voice work is led by Kazuyuki Okitsu as Akiharu Hino and Ayako Kawasumi as Tomomi Saikyou. It will appeal most to viewers who want something light between heavier series. With 12 episodes in total, there is enough room for the story to develop.
