Miyuki

About Miyuki

Miyuki (みゆき) blends romance and slice of life (1983). Below is a fresh retelling of what the story is about. The premise: Masato Wakamatsu lives with his step-sister, Miyuki, with whom he does not have blood relationship. Their father is always working overseas and left the two of them living by themselves in Tokyo.

Another thread: Miyuki is cute, nice, sensitive and very popular among guys around Masato. Masato has a girlfriend at school whose name is Miyuki Kashima, who is pretty and gentle, the ideal dream of every high school boy.

With romance at the core, slow-burn chemistry and believable dialogue are what keep it engaging. Voice work is led by Hiromi Tsuru as Miyuki Kashima and Yoko Oginome as Miyuki Wakamatsu. If you count yourself among viewers who enjoy relationship-driven stories, put it on your list. With 37 episodes in total, there is enough room for the story to develop.
