Super Bestial Machine God Dancougar: Blazing Epilogue

About Super Bestial Machine God Dancougar: Blazing Epilogue

Super Bestial Machine God Dancougar: Blazing Epilogue (超獣機神ダンクーガ 白熱の終章) blends mecha and sci-fi by Ashi Productions (1989). Below is a fresh retelling of what the story is about. What the story covers: After all the clashes the Jyusenki-tai has been through, they have gone on their own separate ways. But one person will bring them all together again: Shapiro Keats.

Along the way, the man who sided with Muge Zarbados all the way back in the beginning is still alive. One companion-turned-foe awaits the Jyusenki-tai once again, in what will be their final clash.

As a mecha title, robot design, combat scale and technical spectacle are the draw. Voice work is led by Kazuki Yao as Shinobu Fujiwara and Norio Wakamoto as Shapiro Keats. This one is best suited to fans of giant robots and large-scale battles. With 4 episodes in total, there is enough room for the story to develop.

Production & Appeal

Production sits with Ashi Productions, which means the visual identity of Super Bestial Machine God Dancougar: Blazing Epilogue follows that studio's craft. Because it leans on mecha, robot design, combat scale and technical spectacle are the draw. With a 5.8/10 score, it is more of a niche pick than a universal crowd-pleaser. Voice casting, including Kazuki Yao as Shinobu Fujiwara, adds to the appeal for fans who follow seiyuu. Released in 1989, it competed with that season's other new series for attention.
