About Himegoto

Meet Himegoto (ひめゴト), a comedy, ecchi and slice of life anime by Asahi Production (2014). Here is the premise in a nutshell. At its core: The story follows Hime Arikawa, a boy who is being chased down by scary people. However, he is rescued from danger by the girls in his school's student council — 18-Kin-san, President Unko, and Beru-senpai.

From there, the pupil council will assume Arikawa's debt under one condition: "As the learner council's dog, you will spend your high school life in women's clothes."

As a comedy title, timing, character chemistry and running gags decide whether it lands. Voice work is led by Yuka Saotome as 18-kin and Saki Ono as Unko. Think of it as a pick for viewers who want something light between heavier series. At 13 episodes in total, it is easy to plan a viewing schedule.
