The Alchemist's Rise

About The Alchemist's Rise

The Alchemist's Rise (傲世丹神) arrives as an action anime by Ruo Hong Culture (2025), and the premise is easy to summarize. What the story covers: Born with a disability, Shen Xiang risked everything to go to a risky place to find medicine in order to open up his spiritual veins. While looking for the medicine, he accidentally saved an injured goddess and demoness, and awakened his divine veins.

From there, he guarded his father and family and became a great god of alchemy!

As an action title, fight choreography, pacing and sound design carry much of the weight. If you count yourself among viewers who like fast, high-impact fights, put it on your list. The run is 12 episodes in total, so you know what you are signing up for.

Production & Appeal

Ruo Hong Culture is the studio behind The Alchemist's Rise, and its direction shapes everything from character design to motion. Within the action category, fight choreography, pacing and sound design carry much of the weight. With a 6.5/10 score, it is more of a niche pick than a universal crowd-pleaser. Released in 2025, it competed with that season's other new series for attention.
