Keijo!!!!!!!! English Sub & Dub

About Keijo!!!!!!!!

Looking for background on Keijo!!!!!!!! (競女!!!!!!!!)? This comedy, ecchi and sports series by Xebec (2016) starts out like this. The setup: "Keijo" is a popular gambling sport where contestants stand on platforms floating on the water and needs to use their butts and chests to struggle against each other to push each other off the platform. Nozomi Kaminashi, a high school learner, aims to join the sport after she graduates.

Another thread: Nozomi was raised in a poor family and hopes to make lots of money by playing Keijo. She grew up training in gymnastics, and she has good balance and flexibility. After high school, Nozomi joins a training boarding school and enters the realm of Keijo.

In a comedy series like this, timing, character chemistry and running gags decide whether it lands. Narrator (Yuuya Murakami) and Nozomi Kaminashi (Lynn) are two of the characters you will meet early. If you count yourself among viewers who want something light between heavier series, put it on your list. With 12 episodes in total, there is enough room for the story to develop.

Production & Appeal

Animation is handled by Xebec, so the studio's house style defines how Keijo!!!!!!!! looks and moves on screen. The comedy focus matters here: timing, character chemistry and running gags decide whether it lands. With a 6.7/10 score, it is more of a niche pick than a universal crowd-pleaser. On the casting side, Yuuya Murakami voicing Narrator gives the lead role a recognizable voice. Released in 2016, it competed with that season's other new series for attention.
