About Majokko Club Yoningumi: A Kuukan kara no Alien X

Here is what Majokko Club Yoningumi: A Kuukan kara no Alien X (魔女っ子クラブ4人組 A空間からのエイリアンX) is about, retold in plain terms: a mahou shoujo and sci-fi anime by Studio Pierrot (1987). In short: Yuu, Persia, Mai and Yumi are together in a science fiction-like adventure. An awful monster assault young and beautiful girls, leaving them transformed into ugly hags: only our four magical girls with their powers can fly to the space and struggle for Earth 's sake, so Yuu transforms into Creamy Mami.

With mahou shoujo at the core, ideas, tech concepts and production design set it apart. Voice work is led by Takako Oota as Yuu Morisawa and Youko Obata as Mai Kazuki.

This one is best suited to fans of futuristic settings and big-concept stories. With 1 episodes in total, there is enough room for the story to develop.

Production & Appeal

Animation is handled by Studio Pierrot, so the studio's house style defines how Majokko Club Yoningumi: A Kuukan kara no Alien X looks and moves on screen. Because it leans on mahou shoujo, ideas, tech concepts and production design set it apart. With a 6.0/10 score, it is more of a niche pick than a universal crowd-pleaser. Voice casting, including Takako Oota as Yuu Morisawa, adds to the appeal for fans who follow seiyuu. Released in 1987, it competed with that season's other new series for attention.
