Gall Force 2: Destruction

About Gall Force 2: Destruction

Here is what Gall Force 2: Destruction (ガルフォース2) is about, retold in plain terms: an action, mecha and sci-fi anime by AIC and Animate Film (1987). The setup: Lufy, discovered floating lifeless in space, is brought on board a Solnoid cruiser and given another chance at life. Once the hardened warrior, she is shown events that shake her faith (one's own death seems to have a way of changing one's philosophy) and lessening her ability as a fighter just as that ability is most needed!

In an action series like this, fight choreography, pacing and sound design carry much of the weight. Lufy (Hiromi Tsuru) and Catty (Naoko Watanabe) are two of the characters you will meet early.

This one is best suited to viewers who like fast, high-impact fights. With 1 episodes in total, there is enough room for the story to develop.

Production & Appeal
