Urusei Yatsura Movie 6: Always My Darling

About Urusei Yatsura Movie 6: Always My Darling

If you are hunting for a new action series, Urusei Yatsura Movie 6: Always My Darling (うる星やつら いつだって・マイ・ダーリン) deserves a look (1991). The setup goes like this. At its core: Lupica, another one of the legion of space princesses that all seem to have found out about Earth in some tour book, appears and abducts Ataru! But Lupica isn't after Ataru for his great looks or charming personality (because he doesn't have either).

Another thread: Lupica's goal is the greatest love potion in the galaxy, which she intends to use to induce her sweetheart to tie the knot. To get it, she needs the possessor of the greatest lust in the universe...

As an action title, fight choreography, pacing and sound design carry much of the weight. Voice work is led by Mayumi Tanaka as Ryuunosuke Fujinami and Toshio Furukawa as Ataru Moroboshi. This one is best suited to viewers who like fast, high-impact fights. The run is 1 episodes in total, so you know what you are signing up for.
