Production & Appeal

ufotable is the studio behind Ninja Nonsense, and its direction shapes everything from character design to motion. The comedy focus matters here: timing, character chemistry and running gags decide whether it lands. With a 6.5/10 score, it is more of a niche pick than a universal crowd-pleaser. On the casting side, Nana Mizuki voicing Shinobu gives the lead role a recognizable voice. Released in 2004, it competed with that season's other new series for attention.
