About The Healer Who Was Banished From His Party, Is, in Fact, the Strongest

Meet The Healer Who Was Banished From His Party, Is, in Fact, the Strongest (パーティーから追放されたその治癒師、実は最強につき), an action, adventure and fantasy anime by Studio elle and Procen Studio (2024). Here is the premise in a nutshell. The setup: Two centuries have passed since a hero defeated the evil Jaryu and saved the world. In one of the many dungeon cities, Raust, a healer scorned and cast out of his party for being too weak, struggles to find his place.

Also worth knowing: Amidst despair, he meets martial artist Narsena, who invites him to form a new party together. With a fresh start and renewed motivation, the two begin their adventure to greatness.

In an action series like this, fight choreography, pacing and sound design carry much of the weight. Raust (Kenshou Ono) and Narsena (Kaori Maeda) are two of the characters you will meet early. If you count yourself among viewers who like fast, high-impact fights, put it on your list. With 12 episodes in total, there is enough room for the story to develop.

Production & Appeal

Animation is handled by Studio elle and Procen Studio, so the studio's house style defines how The Healer Who Was Banished From His Party, Is, in Fact, the Strongest looks and moves on screen. The action focus matters here: fight choreography, pacing and sound design carry much of the weight. Its 5.7/10 score suggests opinions are split, so it suits viewers who already like the genre. On the casting side, Kenshou Ono voicing Raust gives the lead role a recognizable voice. Released in 2024, it competed with that season's other new series for attention.
