Lupin Zero English Sub & Dub

About Lupin Zero

Lupin Zero arrives as an action anime by Telecom Animation Film (2022), and the premise is easy to summarize. The premise: How did this young boy become notorious gentleman thief "Lupin III"? Loosely based on Young Lupin III from the original manga, will tell a nostalgic, yet brand new original story, finally lifting the veil cast upon Lupin III's humble beginnings.

Also worth knowing: Set during the era in which the original series was first published, the anime depicts Young Lupin III running around the streets of 1960's Japan during the country's economic boom. A young boy climbs the staircase to villainhood. What was he thinking and what steps did he take?

In an action series like this, fight choreography, pacing and sound design carry much of the weight. This one is best suited to viewers who like fast, high-impact fights.

Production & Appeal

Telecom Animation Film is the studio behind Lupin Zero, and its direction shapes everything from character design to motion. The action focus matters here: fight choreography, pacing and sound design carry much of the weight. Released in 2022, it competed with that season's other new series for attention.
