Ninja Kamui English Sub & Dub

About Ninja Kamui

If you are hunting for a new action series, Ninja Kamui deserves a look (2024). The setup goes like this. In short: Higan is a Nukenin - a former ninja who escaped his clan and is hiding from his violent past in rural America with his family. One night, he is ambushed by a team of assassins from his former organization who exact a bloody retribution on Joe and his family for betraying their ancient code.

Next up: Rising from his seeming “death,” Joe will re-emerge as his former self - Ninja Kamui - to avenge his family and companions. Kamui is a 21st century ninja, a shadowy anachronism who pits his age-old skills against high-tech weaponry with brutal finesse. He must face off against trained assassins, combat cyborgs, and rival ninjas to bring down the very clan that made him.

With action at the core, fight choreography, pacing and sound design carry much of the weight. Voice work is led by Kenjirou Tsuda as Higan and Yuuki Wakai as Emma Samanda. If you count yourself among viewers who like fast, high-impact fights, put it on your list. At 13 episodes in total, it is easy to plan a viewing schedule.

Production & Appeal

Because it leans on action, fight choreography, pacing and sound design carry much of the weight. With a 6.4/10 score, it is more of a niche pick than a universal crowd-pleaser. On the casting side, Kenjirou Tsuda voicing Higan gives the lead role a recognizable voice. Released in 2024, it competed with that season's other new series for attention.
