Skeleton Knight in Another World

About Skeleton Knight in Another World

Here is what Skeleton Knight in Another World (骸骨騎士様、只今異世界へお出掛け中) is about, retold in plain terms: an action, adventure and comedy anime by Studio KAI and HORNETS (2022). In short: One day, a gamer played video games until he fell asleep…and when he woke up, he found himself in the game realm–as a skeleton! Equipped with the formidable weapons and armor of his avatar but stuck with its frightening skeletal appearance, Arc has to find a place for himself in this new, fantastical land.

Another thread: All his hopes for a quiet life are dashed when he crosses paths with a beautiful elven warrior, setting him on a journey full of conflict and adventure.

In an action series like this, fight choreography, pacing and sound design carry much of the weight. Voice work is led by Tomoaki Maeno as Arc and Nene Hieda as Ponta. If you count yourself among viewers who like fast, high-impact fights, put it on your list. The run is 12 episodes in total, so you know what you are signing up for.

Production & Appeal
