The Great Jahy Will Not Be Defeated!

About The Great Jahy Will Not Be Defeated!

Here is what The Great Jahy Will Not Be Defeated! (ジャヒー様はくじけない！) is about, retold in plain terms: a comedy, fantasy and slice of life anime by SILVER LINK. (2021). The setup: The Great Jahy, the Dark Realm’s second-in-command, cuts a frightening figure, feared and revered by all. But when a run-in with a magical girl results in the destruction of the precious mana crystal, the Dark Realm falls, transporting the newly puny and powerless Jahy to the human realm!

Another thread: Unfortunately, plotting the revival of the Dark Realm from a cramped, crumbling one-room apartment is no easy feat when you have rent to pay and a job to keep!

With comedy at the core, timing, character chemistry and running gags decide whether it lands. Narrator (Hideyuki Hori) and Jahy (Naomi Oozora) are two of the characters you will meet early. If you count yourself among viewers who want something light between heavier series, put it on your list. With 20 episodes in total, there is enough room for the story to develop.
