About Arjuna

Arjuna (地球少女アルジュナ) blends adventure, drama and fantasy by Satelight (2001). Below is a fresh retelling of what the story is about. In short: Juna was just an ordinary high-school girl, right up until the day she died in a motorcycle accident. But there, in the twilight of death, she saw the future of the barren earth destroyed by the Raaja, and was offered a second chance at life if she would stop them.

Along the way, now she has to learn to cast aside her thoughtlessly destructive ways and face her destiny as the Avatar of Time, the one being who can decide the fate of the planet.

With adventure at the core, exploration, new locations and a steady sense of momentum drive the story. Voice work is led by Mami Higashiyama as Juna Ariyoshi and Yuuji Ueda as Chris Hawken. Think of it as a pick for anyone who enjoys travel-the-world storytelling. At 13 episodes in total, it is easy to plan a viewing schedule.
