Dragon Goes House-Hunting

About Dragon Goes House-Hunting

Dragon Goes House-Hunting (ドラゴン、家を買う。) arrives as a comedy anime by Signal.MD and Production I.G (2021), and the premise is easy to summarize. What the story covers: Letty is having a monster of a bad day. He can’t fly, breathe fire, and was just kicked out of his family’s lair.

Beyond that: Hapless and homeless, this beast needs new digs, but where to start? Enter Dearia, the Demon Lord of Real Estate, making buyers’ dreams come true. Alas, that unique fixer-upper listing shown was infested with a horde of undead squatters—and no fireplace.

As a comedy title, timing, character chemistry and running gags decide whether it lands. Narrator (Leo Morimoto) and Dearia (Kaito Ishikawa) are two of the characters you will meet early. Think of it as a pick for viewers who want something light between heavier series. With 12 episodes in total, there is enough room for the story to develop.

Production & Appeal

Production sits with Signal.MD and Production I.G, which means the visual identity of Dragon Goes House-Hunting follows that studio's craft. The comedy focus matters here: timing, character chemistry and running gags decide whether it lands. Its 5.9/10 score suggests opinions are split, so it suits viewers who already like the genre. On the casting side, Leo Morimoto voicing Narrator gives the lead role a recognizable voice. It aired in 2021, which makes it easy to place in the wider anime calendar.
