Otaku Elf English Sub & Dub

About Otaku Elf

Otaku Elf (江戸前エルフ) blends comedy, slice of life and supernatural by C2C (2023). Below is a fresh retelling of what the story is about. What the story covers: Takamimi Shrine has an unusual resident – Elda, a long-lost elf who’s obsessed with video games! The shrine’s teenage attendant, Koito Koganei, keeps this reclusive otaku well supplied with energy drinks and junk food.

Next up: Even though she loves 100%-ing her games, Elda has duties to attend to, and Koganei is bound and determined to make this otaku elf fulfill them! It’ll just take an offering or two to bribe—um, we mean convince Elda to put down her new game…

In a comedy series like this, timing, character chemistry and running gags decide whether it lands. Eldali Ilma Fanomenel (Ami Koshimizu) and Koito Koganei (Yuka Ozaki) are two of the characters you will meet early. This one is best suited to viewers who want something light between heavier series. With 12 episodes in total, there is enough room for the story to develop.

Production & Appeal

Production sits with C2C, which means the visual identity of Otaku Elf follows that studio's craft. The comedy focus matters here: timing, character chemistry and running gags decide whether it lands. A 7.0/10 score points to a dependable, well-liked series. On the casting side, Ami Koshimizu voicing Eldali Ilma Fanomenel gives the lead role a recognizable voice. Released in 2023, it competed with that season's other new series for attention.
